Fight Card Entertainment No Mercy October 30, 2010

Fight Card Entertainment No Mercy was held in Cicero, IL last night and also scheduled Muay Thai fights for the night. Olivia Gonzalez and Brittney Jetta battled for 3 rounds with an abundance of action with both competitors landing flurries throughout their contest in which Olivia Gonzalez won by decision receiving a 29 to 28 on all 3 judges cards. Pedro Velasco of No Comment defended his 135 lb title in devastating fashion knocking out his David Havice just 56 seconds into the first round. Velasco landed a crushing punch as he postured over Havice leaving him unconscious for several minutes as medical personal tended to the fighter. Havice got up and walked out of the cage to a loud ovation from the crowd. Velasco is going to talk to his coaches to figure out what next challenge remains before him. Pac MMA's

Sammy Sabah looked impressive in defeating his opponent despite giving up considerable size to Ole Nickles. Sabah was able to take down his larger opponent several times in the match. Sabah pummeled Nickels with punches over and over until finally his corner saw their fighter take to much punishment tossing in the towel at 2:00 into the first round. The Pac's Johnny Torres had a tough ground battle and defeated Victor Johnson by TKO in the 3rd round at 1:07. Torres rained punches on his opponent until the referee put a stop to the contest at 1:07 in the 3rd. David Sanchez of Top Notch wasted no time in disposing of opponent Gerard Mills as Sanchez fired from his corner and just overwhelmed Mills with strikes stopping him just 26 seconds into the 1st round. No Comment's Chris Johnson came out victorious against William Peterson. The first round started with a giant slam by Johnson on Peterson and eventually taking his back. He was unable to secure the rear naked choke and was reversed by Peterson who also tried his own rear naked choke as time expired in the first round. In the second round Peterson wasn't able to get out of the second round, tapping out to the rear naked choke of Johnson at 2:36. Mike Reid won the 175 lb. Muay Thai title defeating Chris Flach with a Cung Le like spinning back kick to Flach's midsection. Flach crumbled to the ground unable to get to his feet as the championship match was halted.
